Juan Mata: Unfinished League Cup Semifinal
Juan Mata says that although Manchester United have taken a positive step towards Wembley, the Red Devils still have to be careful to ensure they step into the League Cup final at the end of the month.
Gol Mata and Marouane Fellaini makes United's 2-0 win over Hull City in the first leg semi-final that lasted overnight, making the English giants are favorites to advance to the top of the party.
However, Mata insists that the second leg will be more difficult and asked his team not to be complacent ahead of the game in KCOM Stadium, which will be played on 26 January.
"We have to play faster and make a little more in the second half and we did, this is a good result," Mata said on Sky Sports News. "This is the first step to Wembley. The second leg will be more difficult in their stadium, but we got a good result. Let's try to win in the second match later."
United have now won their last nine matches in all competitions and will try to win all 10 when facing Liverpool at Old Trafford this weekend. Source: Sky Sports
